Deliberately minimalist, Clan of Nihil displays his schizophrenic  identity with sounds ranging from absurd keyboard to low-rasping analogue bass.  His mental programmers tools range from high-frequency blasts to the orgiastic stomp of a voodoo ceremony. The vocal spectrum of Perino goes all the way from the polyphony of a rum-drenched church organ to the ecstatic bell of a rutting sea lion.

Tension is created through the participating artists dissimilar approaches and techniques. Dynamic collaboration of the artists and positive  utilisation of the tension enable Perino/Nihil to amalgamate a variety of styles into a single body of music. Like a reverted prism, they manage to fuse the intensity of words and music into a thrilling acoustic experience.
